Instructions on how to add an alternative sign-in

Important - You will need the device you want to register

To update your MFA settings, access the Microsoft 365 Security Information page. You may be asked to sign in.

The My Sign-Ins - Security info window will be displayed.

Select '+ Add sign-in method' to add a new sign-in method.

Select the alternative method from the list.  We recommend the Microsoft Authenticator app and Phone as a good combination to have. Follow the steps to setup the new method.

We strongly recommend that you register for more than one MFA method, so you can continue to login in case one method stops working.
