Recycling service/sustainability

Our Print @ UCL partner, Xerox is committed to providing sustainable products and services. As part of this service Xerox offer a free consumable recycling service.

If your department or building already has a recycling programme in place which you are happy to continue using then there is no mandatory requirement to move to the Xerox programme.

In the recycling section on the Print @ UCL sharepoint site, you will find the required registration and order forms.

Device energy saving modes

All Print @ UCL devices are configured to enter 2 levels of energy saving mode at different times. The table below shows the configuration of each product.

To recover a device out of energy saving mode, it is recommended to press the green illuminated energy saver button before attempting to swipe your card.
