Lecturecast

Lecturecast is UCL’s lecture capture system. That goes beyond the simple recording and viewing of lectures, allowing staff to transform their content into an interactive experience and enabling students to engage further with pre-recorded lecture material. Features such as notetaking, live streaming, captioning, bookmarking and posting questions.

Create a Lecturecast recording

  1. Check if your lecture is taking place in a Lecturecast enabled room
  2. Log in to Lecturecast Scheduler to schedule your lectures for recording.
  3. Log in to Moodle. Create a Lecturecast activity in your module.
  4. Link your module to Lecturecast to access your recordings.
  5. Make your recordings available to students.
