Knowledgebase articles on many of UCL's services and applications can be found on MyServices. Use the search function to look for articles and regular queries about an application or service. An enquiry can be created from any page in MyServices.

Office Hours appointments
About Office Hours
Digital Skills Office Hours are 30 minute online appointments availabe in term time with a Digital Skills trainer (see profiles below). These appointments can be used for:
- Answering specific queries about how to use a digital tool or piece of software.
- Guidance on which software or tool to use.
- Finding out what resources and training are available.
The scope of our service
We will do our best to help you with your problem and provide support on a ‘best efforts’ basis. Please be aware that Office Hours appointments cannot be used for the following:
- As a substitute for attending a training course.
- IT support. If something isn't working properly and it is a service or device managed by UCL Information Services Division please contact ISD IT Services.
- Advice on research methods or assistance in completing academic work.

How to cancel your Office Hours Appointment
- Open the Digital Skills Office hours appointment in your Outlook Calendar
- Click Manage Booking
- Select 'Cancel booking', and 'Cancel booking' again when asked to confirm
Excel Clinics and R and Rstudio Clinics
Excel Clinics and R and Rstudio Clinics provide an opportunity for staff and students to receive in person support with questions or issues relating to Excel, and R and Rstudio.

Additional support for reserach staff and students
ARC and the Research Data Management team in Library Services run regular drop-in sessions for all research staff and research students where you can get support and advice to help plan and tackle problems with your research.
