We are looking for enthusiastic students to join the One Desk IT team in our Professional Services Hub.
What is One Desk IT
The One Desk IT team is the primary contact for computer assistance at UCL. It is a first-line advisory and support service to all staff and students across a wide range of IT queries.
What does the role entail?
As a Student Assistant, you will be the friendly face and helpful voice behind the scenes, resolving queries and supporting our community.
You’ll be one of the first points of contact for users, delivering professional and customer-focused support through different channels. This includes the MyServices platform, phone, and live chat.
We will provide the necessary training, and you will be supported by a team of full-time colleagues, at the heart of UCL’s digital support network.

This is a 0-hour contract role and will be covering One Desk IT until Friday 31 October 2025. We are aiming to hold interviews at the end of July, but we will continue to accept further applications till the closing date in August 2025.
What will you gain?

- An understanding of customer service standards and response times within Service Level Agreements (SLAs).
