Improving hearing accessibility in more campus spaces with MobileConnect

This summer, MobileConnect is being installed in a number of new teaching spaces to improve hearing accessibility on campus as part of the teaching spaces summer refurbishment project.
MobileConnect is an app-based accessibility system that enables users to use their own smartphone as an assistive hearing device. By scanning a QR code, users can discreetly connect to the system and listen to a live audio stream with their headphones, hearing aid or cochlear implant via Wi-Fi.
