Following further work we believe that the issue has now been resolved. 

If you are still experiencing issues with speed or reliability of eduroam in Halls, please contact IT Services.

Update 4:45pm 18 January 2023

We have made some changes to the wifi system but we believe there are still issues for a number of users in halls. We are continuing to work with our suppliers to find a resolution. Please continue to report poor performance of wifi whether that be in Halls of Residence or anywhere across the UCL campus.

We are continuing to see issues with slow wireless performance in some UCL Halls of Residence. We are working with our suppliers to resolve the issue as soon as possible.

We are receiving reports of slow performance of Wifi in UCL Halls of Residence, in particular New Hall. We are investigating this as an urgent priority and will provide an update later this afternoon.
