Updates to UCL VPN - 15 June 2022

This message is to notify you of some updates that have been applied to the UCL VPN.  These are:

  1. Use of userID@ucl.ac.uk for Single-Sign-On.
  2. Use of Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA), if set up by users, for higher risk VPN connections.

The benefits of this update are increased security and a simplified login procedure when connecting to the UCL VPN. 

User credentials will be required from time to time only, as dictated by the relevant policy, but at all other times the connection is established without having to enter them.

Users will need to enter their credentials in the form of their userID@ucl.ac.uk, as indicated in the pre-populated text box and information pop-up banner.  Please find further specific information in the links below:
