Update 9:30am 30 November 2020

All services with the exception of SITS/Portico are now working as normal. Please continue to report any loss of service to the IT Services desk.

All services have now been restored with the exception of SITS/Portico which is now subject to a separate investigation.

We would like to thank you all for your patience while we fixed these services. And again our sincere apologies for the disruption caused over the last two days.

Update 9am 27 November 2020

Following extensive work yesterday evening we are planning to restore all core primary services by lunchtime today with the exception of SITS/Portico. Other unavailable services will also be reinstated with the intention that they are all available by the end of the day.

Check the service list below for the current status.

SITS/Portico is unlikely to  be restored to service today. We are working to restore the service as a matter of priority 

We apologise for the ongoing disruption caused and we are working to restore all services as soon as possible.

Update 6pm 26 November 2020

We are sorry if you have been affected by the problems with UCL’s IT services today. We have been working to resolve these issues as quickly as possible, and several systems are now working again please check the service status list below.

Since the last update you should now be able to use the following services:
Website editing via Drupal and access to authenticated content
N:drive (personal filestore
UCL VPN
Lecturecast content via Moodle

Moodle is working, but video content stored on Mediacentral is unavailable.

We are still experiencing problems with:
SITS/Portico
MyHR/MyFinance
eduroam

Microsoft Office 365, including your UCL email and Microsoft Teams, is working normally and not affected. Zoom is also working normally.

The IT disruption also temporarily affected some Estates services today, including the 222 telephone extension for the UCL Security control room. These systems have been tested and are now operating normally. In the event of an accident or emergency, please remember to call the control room on 020 7679 2222/3333 or UCL extension 222.
