How to handle under licensed applications

Instructions

1. To see if you have underlicensed Applications you need to run the licence compliance report.

2. If you find you have an that is underlicensed application that has a negative number in the compliance column you will need to make a number of decisions on how to solve this issue.

a. You could check to see if the licence is used by checking the application usage in the machine, if the application is not used then uninstall the software.

b. You could downgrade a spare licence if applicable to cover the unlicensed application.

b. You could purchase a new licence to make you compliant, if the software is needed.

c. Ask other departments if they have a spare licence they could transfer you. You would need to contact us to transfer the licence.
