- Turn device on. If the device has been wiped/reset, the first thing you will see is the Activate Mac screen. This should happen automatically once you have connected to a network. Once activated click Exit to Recovery and the computer will restart and prompt you to reinstall the latest OS. Installation of the OS can take 1-2 hours depending on the speed of your device and network. Once the OS is installed your device will automatically restart and you can begin the setup and enrolment process.
- Select United Kingdom and click Continue
- Configure accessibility to your preference and then click Continue or just click Not Now
- Connect to a wireless (from home) or a wired network (from within UCL). (At this time it is not possible to enrol whilst connected to Eduroam). Click Continue
- You will now see the Remote Management screen that will specify the computer will be configured by UCL.
- Click Continue and the enrolment will be initiated. This should take a minute or so to complete.
- Enable/Disable Location services to your preference and click Continue
- The device should now boot to a log in screen, and you should see the Azure login box. Sign in with your UCL email and password. A local account will be created with your UCL credentials.
