Indigo: change properties of template

In Silva you used the UCL Attributes to make changes to the template, in Indigo this is done in the Properties tab.

• Sample template layouts
• Sample columns and navigation styles

You can change:

1. website name
2. layout
3. navigation
4. columns
5. title
6. colour of banner
7. metadata

and hide a page or folder in Properties.

Before you start...

You will need to have Chief Editor, Editor or Author access in Silva;
You will need to have attended Silva training.

1. Avoid using Internet Explorer when editing;
2. Log on to the relevant website by adding /edit at the end of the web address or clicking on the small cross at the bottom of the page.

Instructions

1. Ensure you are in editing mode
2. Go to the relevant Silva document or Silva folder where you would like to change the properties
3. Click on the properties tab at the top
4. Make the necessary changes
5. Save
6. Publish the relevant page(s)
7. Remember, there is a 30-minute delay before you can see the results live.
