Create a new folder in Thunderbird

Manage your mailbox by using folders to store and organise your content. This guide explains how to create new folders.

In this example, we will create a new folder at the top level of your account.

1. Right-mouse-click on your account name in the Folder List and select New Folder...

2. Type in the name of your new folder and press Create Folder.

3. The new folder should now be created in your folder list under you main account.
