Duties and responsibilities

The post holder will support the Education Manager to deliver an effective and efficient professional service for all aspects of taught degrees programme administration within the IoO. Directly reporting to the Education Manager, the postholder will provide specialist administration and professional support to the designated teaching programmes, ensuring that effective procedures for dealing with all aspects of programme administration are widely implemented, documented and adopted. 

The role will provide high quality and timely service to current students and staff for all matters relating to the teaching and learning activities of postgraduate taught students, including administrative support of committees and processes relating to assessment, student and course records.

This role is open-ended.

Key requirements

The postholder must have a good general education to at least GCSE/A levels, NVQ Level I/II Administration, or equivalent or have acquired substantial relevant experience. Experience in Postgraduate Taught Course/Programme administration, maintaining a virtual learning environment such as Moodle, and servicing committees and minute taking are essential. In addition, the role-holder will have excellent IT, record keeping skills and verbal and written communication skills.
