The first event will focus on Diabetic Retinopathy and will be held at UCL Institute of Ophthalmology (Main Lecture Theatre). The event will also be streamed online: to join remotely, register here.
Talks will include a presentation on two NIHR studies exploring the role of modern imaging, technologies and artificial intelligence (AI) by Konstantinos Balaskas. Sobha Sivaprasad and Dolores Conroy will talk about the ORNATE India project and what the study means for the future of Diabetic Retinopathy in the UK. Roxanne Crosby-Nwaobi, Head of Research Nursing at Moorfields Eye Hospital will also talk on nursing perspectives in the field .
