Session details
This session will provide an introduction to best practice when managing research data throughout the lifetime of a research project from the grant application stage, through the active research phase and publishing of findings, to project completion, data deposition and archiving. The session will outline the expectations placed on researchers by both UCL and the major research funding agencies.
We will also discuss the FAIR data principles and how to make sure your own research data is Findable, Accessible, Interoperable and Reusable, and introduce the UCL research Data Repository which is a new publishing platform for research data freely available to Staff and Students at UCL.
This session will take place in the Main Lecture Theatre, UCL Joint Library of Ophthalmology.
