9/11/2015 Statistical considerations when designing a study & Statistical resources at MEH and IoO

In this session, Catey Bunce (senior Statistician at Moorfields Eye Hospital) will give a short talk on some general concepts in statistics and statistical considerations when designing a study. This will be followed by a brief talk on what statistics resources are available for researchers at IoO and MEH. 

We are hoping that with the participation and feedback from the researchers themselves, Catey and her colleagues will have an idea of how to structure future seminars according to the specific topics you want covered. 

As you all know, statistics is a huge part of scientific research. This seminar series is a great opportunity to build up your confidence in solving stats/data analysis problems that you might encounter. Please make an effort to come along to the Lecture theatre at 9.30 am on the 9th of November.
