1. What motivated you to attend the ophthalmology summer school?

I was motivated to attend the programme because of the abundant opportunities available in both scientific and clinical research.

2. What was the best thing about being at UCL this summer?

One of the best things was meeting and getting to know my colleagues, many of whom were from across the globe. UCL is such a diverse institution and having the opportunity to study at this campus has been wonderful.

3. What is your top takeaway from the summer school this year?

My top takeaway would have to be how advancements in artificial intelligence are reshaping diagnostic medicine, creating more efficient and accurate patient care.

4. Would you recommend the ophthalmology summer school to other students just like you?

I would definitely recommend this programme to medical students as it provides great exposure and a baseline understanding of the scientific work and dedication that can later be translated into clinical practice.
