Research Centres

Three Research Centres are based within the Department: MRC International Centre for Genomic Medicine in Neuromuscular Diseases, the UCL Queen Square Motor Neuron Disease Centre as well as the Alzheimer’s Research UK Drug Discovery Institute (ARUK-DDI).

NMJ was immunostained to visualize the axon terminal (in green) and the motor endplate (in red). Healthy NMJs indicate a high level of overlapping between both axon terminal and motor endplate
