The NeuroResource tissue bank accepts donations of human central nervous system (CNS) for research on multiple sclerosis and motor neurone disease.
We aim to help researchers carry out studies which will bring vital new knowledge on the causes and treatment of these brain and spinal cord disorders. Samples from NeuroResource are used in a wide spectrum of research projects.
These studies focus on the mechanisms which cause and/or maintain the progression of disease. It is very important to compare research results with the information obtained from samples without CNS disease.
Therefore we also welcome tissue donations from people who do not have any CNS disorder.
