Our multi-disciplinary, multi-institutional team comprises investigators from UCL, the University of Cambridge, the University of Oxford and the Royal Veterinary College.

Through our shared vision, resources and expertise in genetics, molecular pathology, mitophagy screening, functional assays, transcriptomics, developing disease models, high-throughput cell biology and drug discovery, we are investigating the variable rate of Parkinson’s disease progression and spread in the brain. By developing a comprehensive model of the biology of disease progression, the foundations for future drug development efforts will be greatly enhanced.
