The Chalfont Centre for Epilepsy was established over 130 years ago by neurologists from the National Hospital at Queen Square, the forerunners for the UCL Queen Square Institute of Neurology. The Centre is an essential base for our Department of Clinical and Experimental Epilepsy, mainly supported by the Epilepsy Society.

The Epilepsy Society, our partner, aims to transform the treatment of epilepsy and give people hope for a life without seizures. By selling a part of their land in Buckinghamshire, the Society hopes to raise £100 million, which would be invested in cutting-edge research transforming the diagnosis and treatment of epilepsy. UCL fully support this plan. Please see link below for further information.
