UCL HD Centre Collaborator Receives Honour

We are delighted that, in her New Year’s Honours list for 2022, Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II, has awarded an OBE (Most Excellent Order of the British Empire) to Charles Sabine, for his mission to improve the lives of Huntington’s families everywhere, having transitioned from an Emmy-award winning career in TV News. Charles is a longtime collaborator of the UCL Huntington's Disease Centre and we couldn't be prouder that he has received this well-deserved honour.
Notably, the citation mentions the words Huntington’s disease, the first time in history those words have been used in such an award from a monarch.
