Professor Nick Ward BSc, MD, FRCP (UK) (Professor of Clinical Neurology and Neurorehabilitation) Rehabilitation, Recovery, Repair – 3 R’s of life after stroke”

Professor Matt Lambon Ralph (Directorship of the MRC Cognition and Brain Sciences Unit at the University of Cambridge) and Professor Alan Thompson gave vote of thanks respectively.

“Alex and Nick delivered outstanding inaugural lectures to a packed lecture theatre. They described important neurorehabilitation science that has clearly advanced patient care nationally and internationally using innovative apps. Their work is a great example of what can be achieve through very close collaborative working between scientists clinicians and therapists and to improve patient outcomes- it was therefore in the best traditions of clinical academic medicine at the Queen Square Institute of Neurology in partnership with the National Hospital” Professor Michael Hanna, Director of the UCL Queen Square Institute of Neurology
