14 November 2016
An article in Science highlights a programme called Semantic Scholar, an online tool built at the Allen Institute for Artificial Intelligence (AI2) in Seattle, Washington. The programme has calculated the most influential scientists based on 2.5 million neuroscience articles, mapping all of the citations between them, and calculating a score of each author's influence on the rest.
Three of the top 10 most influential neuroscientists hail from UCL: Karl Friston (1st), Raymond Dolan (2nd), and Chris Frith (7th).
