Dr Umesh Vivekananda wins Gordon Holmes Prize for neuroscience trainees

Many congratulations to Dr Umesh Vivekananda, a PhD student in the Experimental Epilepsy Group, UCL Institute of Neurology who has won the prestigious Gordon Holmes Prize for neuroscience trainees for his work on Axonal signalling in Episodic Ataxia Type 1.
This prize is held in alternate years for trainees in neurosciences, including neurology, neurosurgery, neurophysiology, neuropathology or neuroradiology.
Shortlisted applicants gave a presentation at a meeting of the RSM Clinical Neurosciences Section on Thursday 28 April 2016, where Dr Vivekananda was awarded the Gordon Holmes Prize for the best presentation.
