The Queen Square Library offers reference access to anyone who has a need to access the specialist collection. Some additional services, described below, are available to UCL alumni and to members of the Queen Square Alumnus Association.
Services for UCL Alumni

Services for the Queen Square Alumnus Association
Members of the Queen Square Alumnus Association who are also UCL Alumni may use the services described above. The Queen Square Library also offers enquiry services and document delivery services to all members of the Queen Square Alumnus Association.

The Queen Square Library staff are happy to help with enquiries from members of the Queen Square Alumnus Association. Please contact us for details.
Document Supply Service
The Queen Square Library can supply copies of documents to members of the Queen Square Alumnus Association where those documents are held within the print collections of the Queen Square Library or in online journals where the license allows us to supply. We can supply by post or email at a flat rate of £5 per copy.
Please note the following restrictions on the material we can supply:
- We can only supply copies of material that is held within Queen Square Library.
- We cannot offer access to electronic sources beyond those titles covered by the free access to a range of online journals that have been provided to help you continue your research or professional development; in addition you can access many articles freely online under Open Access arrangements.
- Due to copyright law restrictions, we can supply only one article from each single issue of a journal and only 5% or one chapter from a book (whichever is greater).
- The article must be for private/academic use only, commercial use is not permitted.
Submitting requests
Members of the Queen Square Alumnus Association may make a request by post, email or telephone but we must receive a completed and signed request form before we can send material. Please print off and complete the request form and either post or email it to us (please refer to our contact details).
Payment for requests
Payment is by credit card only (Visa or Mastercard) and must be paid on application. We are unable to invoice individuals and non-UK based organisations.
