Links to Other Libraries

The Queen Square Library works closely with the other libraries of its parent organisations, UCL and UCLH.

The lists below link you to various other libraries, including other useful libraries in London as well as national & international libraries. UCL staff and research postgraduates may be able to visit other libraries via the SCONUL scheme.

PLEASE NOTE: access to other libraries varies depending upon the regulations of each library. Please check with each Library before your visit for opening hours and access arrangements.

Other national & international libraries

  • UK libraries - via COPAC (the catalogues of some of the largest university research libraries in the UK).  The COPAC service, funded by Jisc, will end on 31 July 2019 with the new NBK service offering replacement functionality. For any queries regarding COPAC service retirement, please contact edina@ed.ac.uk. For any queries regarding NBK, please contact nbk.copac@jisc.ac.uk.  In the meantime the pilot version of Library hub discover can be seached to familiarise yourself with how it will look and work.
  • UK libraries - via SUNCAT  This is a tool to help locate serials held in over 60 UK libraries. The SUNCAT service, funded by Jisc, will end on 31 July 2019 with the new NBK service offering replacement functionality. For any queries regarding SUNCAT service retirement, please contact edina@ed.ac.uk.
