About the Speaker
Beverley Harden MBE FCSP
at NHS England's Allied Health Professions
Prof Harden is the Deputy Chief Allied Health Professions Officer, at NHS England. She is a physiotherapist by profession, and an international expert in Allied Health workforce optimisation, leading national efforts across NHS England. Prof Harden is passionate about equity of access to specialist physical and mental health rehabilitation and diagnostic services. She is a recipient of a Churchill Fellowship exploring the importance of early expert diagnosis and treatment as essential for access to prompt, effective care and support so that people can stay in school, in work, engaged in society or caring for a loved one. This impacts positively upon health outcomes and inequalities.
