Session 1 (Prof Jenny Crinion): Intensive Comprehensive Aphasia Programmes

  • Short talks from the Queen Square ICAP team covering: structure and therapeutic content; outcome measures; analysis of goals set
  • Miranda Rose (Melbourne): Evidence base and where next for ICAPs

 

Session 2 (Prof Alex Leff): Translational neuroscience

  • Matt Lambon-Ralph (Cambridge): The neural and cognitive bases for relearning vocabulary in aphasia
  • Tom Hope (UCL): Individuals’ responses to aphasia rehabilitation are systematic and predictable
  • Cathy Price & Rachel Bruce (UCL): Predicting Language Outcome and Recovery After Stroke roll-out

 

Session 3 (Mr Simon Grobler): Therapy updates
