Over the past few years there have been substantial changes in our understanding and exciting developments in the management of multiple sclerosis (MS). Many clinicians will have contact with people with MS but, with increasing diagnostic and treatment complexities, MS management may be daunting or overwhelming for non-MS specialists. It will cover key clinical issues that healthcare professionals seeing people with MS may encounter, and provide a framework and rationale for investigation and management of people who may have, or who have an established diagnosis of, MS.
