4:30     Prof Tom Foltynie: COVID-19 and Parkinson’s: the pandemic effects on disease, clinical care and research

5:00     Dr Maya Bronfeld: Parkinson’s clinical trials at Queen Square: ongoing and upcoming research participation opportunities at Queen Square.

5:20     Dr Amit Batla: Roadmap to research partnership at Queen Square: how people with Parkinson’s, their partners, family and friends can partner us to shape, influence and support the Parkinson’s research at Queen Square.

The webinar will include a Q&A session with our panellists, who will be happy to answer your questions.  You are invited to send us any questions you might have prior to the event, and we will make an effort to address them during the webinar.

You will also have the option to ask any questions during the event (by typing on the Zoom portal Q&A option). We will try and answer live questions but cannot guarantee that this will be possible considering time constraints.

About the Speakers

Prof. Tom Foltynie

Prof. Tom Foltynie is a senior movement disorders specialist neurologist at the National Hospital for Neurology and Neurosurgery. He is also Professor of Neurology at UCL Queen Square Institute of neurology and has been leading several clinical trials and path breaking research studies in Parkinson’s.

Dr. Amit Batla

Dr. Amit Batla is lead for Patient and Public Involvement at Queen Square Movement Disorders Centre and Honorary Consultant Neurologist and Movement disorders specialist at National Hospital for Neurology and Neurosurgery, Royal Free London Hospital and Luton and Dunstable University Hospital.
