Brain meeting

The seminar will focus on the neurocognitive mechanisms that provide the foundation for episodic memory during early childhood.  Specifically, I will discuss recent studies on hippocampal contribution to early memory functioning and ask whether they suggest a developmental continuity in memory functioning. In addition, I will discuss the challenges young children face in integrating memory signals in their memory decisions and future-oriented actions. I will end by highlighting current challenges and directions for future research.

There will be coffee, tea and cake in the conservatory directly after the talk.
