David Marsden Movement Disorders Symposium

David Marsden died 20 years ago this autumn, but his strong legacy lives on in the form of the International Movement Disorder Society, the Movement Disorders Journal, and a host of ex-fellows, students, and colleagues.

This event will be a half-day symposium dedicated to his memory and to the future of the specialty.

The symposium will comprise an afternoon of 10 talks by distinguished ex-Fellows of David including Profs Mark Hallett, Peter Jenner, Jose Obeso, Tony Lang, John Rothwell, Brian Day, Niall Quinn, Marjan Jahanshahi, Andrew Lees and Kailash Bhatia.

Talks will be from 1.30 to 6pm, followed by a drinks reception from 6-7pm. There will be an optional Symposium Gala Dinner at 7pm (not included in symposium fee, pre-registration required).

Optional extra: Guided visit to The Royal Society, the oldest national scientific institution in the world. Guided tour are available for 24 peple from 12 to 1pm on the day the symposium (£10 per person, pre-registration required).

This will be a ticket-only event limited to 100 participants.
