The 18th annual Queen Square Symposium will be taking place on 31st May 2017.The Symposium brings together MSc and PhD students across diverse neuroscience domains, including clinical, cognitive and computational scopes of study, and offers students at the IoN an invaluable opportunity to showcase and discuss their research. It provides a platform for students to network with peers, gain a broader perspective of neuroscience research, and to gather feedback on their work from the variety of academics present on the day.

The symposium will be a day-long event commencing with poster sessions in the morning, and talks by students, early career neuroscientists and the keynote speaker in the afternoon.

The event will be followed by an early evening drinks and cheese reception.

We are delighted to announce that the Keynote Lecture at the 2017 Symposium will be given by Nobel Prize winner Professor John O'Keefe, Director of the Sainsbury Wellcome Centre for Neural Circuits & Behaviour and Professor of Cognitive Neuroscience in the Department of Cell & Developmental Biology, Division of Biosciences at UCL.
