Division of Neuropathology
The Division of
Neuropathology at Queen Square is one of the leading academic and diagnostic
neuropathology departments in the UK.
The Department provides service for the National Hospital of Neurology and Neurosurgery, University College London Hospital, and receives a substantial number of national referrals.
Dubowitz Neuromuscular Centre
The Dubowitz Neuromuscular centre specialises in
neuromuscular disorders affecting individuals in the paediatric age.
Our pathology service provides the diagnostic neuropathology for Congenital Muscular Dystrophies and Congenital Myopathies.
Our molecular pathology service offers tests for brain tumour markers, such as 1p/19q in oligodendrogliomas, MGMT promoter methylation in high grade gliomas and BRAF fusion tests.
