Held on Thursday 14th March 2024 from 4:00-5:45pm, this webinar was hosted by the Movement Disorder Team at The National Hospital for Neurology and Neurosurgery. This information session features information about the centre's latest trials, Parkinson's mental health and community resources, and advances in spinal surgical interventions. A Q&A session was hosted by a highly specialist and experienced panel of speakers, including Dr. Elisa Menozzi, Clinical Research Fellow; Dr. Amit Batla, Clinical Associate Professor and Honorary Consultant Neurologist at National Hospital for Neurology and Neurosurgery; Dr. Jennifer Foley, Clinical Neuropsychologist and Honorary Lecturer; Dr. Antonino Russo, consultant complex reconstructive spinal surgeon at the National Hospital for Neurology and Neurosurgery; and Angelina Manoharan, Clinical Research Nurse for the Movement Disorders Centre.

Webinar 1st Nov 2020: Parkinson's research in the time of COVID-19

This was the first webinar in the series of Queen Square Parkinson's Research Forums held on: 9th November 2020, 4:30-6:00pm.

These webinars, organized by the Queen Square Movement disorders Centre, are free, open to the public, and aimed at people affected by Parkinson's - including people living with Parkinson’s, their partners, family members and friends.

In this first webinar, a live panel of speakers discussed the impact of COVID-19 on Parkinson’s clinical care and clinical research, and how people influenced by Parkinson’s can get involved in research.
