Director and Dean
The Director and Dean leads the faculty, steering it towards its academic ambitions and upholding its core values. In this, he is supported by the IOE’s senior leadership team as set out below.

Simon Buller
Director of Operations
The Director of Operations is responsible for the day-to-day operations of the faculty, ensuring they are managed effectively and aligned with UCL's academic mission.

Pro-Director and Vice-Dean (Research)
The Pro-Director and Vice-Dean (Research) is responsible for leading the faculty's overall research strategy and all research-related areas of activity, including postgraduate research students.

Pro-Director and Vice-Dean (Education)
The Pro-Director and Vice-Dean (Education) is responsible for strategic oversight of the faculty's portfolio of taught programmes, including developing and leading related initiatives and policies.

Vice-Dean (International)
The Vice-Dean International is responsible for fostering and managing the faculty's international engagement, in support of the faculty’s international networks, reach and impact.

Vice-Dean (Enterprise)
The Vice-Dean (Enterprise) is responsible for leading the faculty’s enterprise strategy, working closely with the wider senior team to enhance the faculty’s engagement with external partners for both commercial and societal impact.

Vice-Dean (Equality, Diversity and Inclusion)
The Vice-Dean (Equality, Diversity and Inclusion – EDI) leads and supports the promotion of EDI policy and practice within the faculty, including in relation to staff recruitment, promotions, and professional development, as well as fostering a sense of belonging for all students and staff.
