A total of 16 UCL academics have been successfully appointed to roles across both main and UoA sub panels. They come from across nine UCL faculties: Population Health Sciences, Brain Sciences, Life Sciences, Engineering Sciences, UCL Institute of Education (IOE), UCL Bartlett Faculty of the Built Environment, Laws, Social and Historical Sciences, and Arts and Humanities.
For the first time, the panel members were appointed through an open application process, rather than by nomination. The process was designed to attract a more inclusive pool of candidates and reduce barriers to entry.
From IOE, the following members were announced:
| Main panel | Unit of Assessment | Subject area | Name | Role |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Panel C: Social Sciences | Main panel | Social Sciences | Dominic Wyse | Main panel member |
| Panel C: Social Sciences | Main panel | Social Sciences | Sandra Leaton Gray | Main panel user expert |
| Panel C: Social Sciences | UoA21 | Sociology | Katherine Twamley | Sub-panel member (assessment phase) |
