Is there a link between Universal Credit and crime rates?

A study led by Dr Matteo Tiratelli finds "robust, preliminary evidence that the introduction of UC is correlated with increased crime rates" and suggests the tightening of welfare provisions "has led to people becoming stressed in all different areas of their life."
