Philosophy’s influence on the school curriculum | RFTRW: S13E04
21 February 2022
We hear from a long-serving member of the IOE community about education research and practice from a philosophical lens and how this view can help solve the real-life problems we face today.
This year, IOE celebrates its 120th anniversary, and Professor White has been around for almost half of its lifetime. He tells Emily MacLeod about what life at the IOE was like when he started and how much things have changed from a professional and personal perspective.
With his research focus on the philosophy of education, Professor White discusses student wellbeing, policy, practice, PGCEs and Plato.
