Analysing the relationship between children’s behaviour and their vocabulary as teenagers

Research by Professor Alice Sullivan looked at data from the 1970 British Cohort Study (BCS70) and the Millennium Cohort Study (MCS) and found that in both cohorts, children with reported behavioural problems at age five performed more poorly on a vocabulary test as teenagers.
