In recognition of its "world leading contribution to the policy and practice of education with international reach around innovative social research" UCL Institute of Education (IOE) has been awarded a Queen's Anniversary Prize for Higher and Further Education. The Prize acknowledges the IOE's major international impact on the policy and practice of education through innovative teacher training and applied social research.
UCL Provost Michael Arthur, Interim Director of the IOE Professor Andrew Brown, and Academic heads of departments Dr Lesley Jane Gourlay and Professor David Guile attended the ceremony at Buckingham Palace. They were joined by a cohort of student representatives.
