The IOE congratulates its Laidlaw scholars
31 March 2017
The IOE is delighted to announce that three of the 25 UCL Laidlaw scholars are first year students from the BSc Social Sciences and BSc Social Sciences with Quantitative Methods programme.
Just under 220 first-year undergraduates competed for 25 places on UCL's branch of the prestigious Programme, which is now running at six UK universities including Oxford and Durham.
The Laidlaw scholars will now undertake an exciting programme of activities including leadership training, the UCL Global Citizenship Programme and two six-week funded summer research projects under the guidance of UCL academics. In addition, scholars will be offered opportunities to put their leadership skills into practice.
