Towards a sustainable Gulf: The role of higher education institutions
Join this research-focused webinar to discuss the integration of sustainability within higher education institutions in the Gulf Cooperation Council.
In this short, research-focused webinar, doctoral student Mayce El Mostafa examines the integration of sustainability within higher education institutions in the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC), with a particular focus on the interplay between institutional strategy, cultural context, and implementation practices.
While universities globally have increasingly adopted sustainability agendas, their translation into meaningful institutional change remains uneven, particularly within rapidly developing regions such as the GCC.
Attendees of this DERC webinar will have an opportunity to contribute to discussion on this pertinent issue.
