Transforming education: A three-dimensional perspective (pedagogy, space, and digital)

Smart Classroom Project is a research-based spin-off developed by the Universitat Oberta de Catalunya and the University of Barcelona. It aims to rethink, co-design, implement, and evaluate learning spaces grounded in scientific evidence. The project understands educational space as a key driver of pedagogical transformation and approaches it from an integrated perspective that combines pedagogy, architecture, wellbeing, sustainability, and the seamless integration of technology.
SCHOOLWISE (Building Data Wisdom and Governance in Schools for Evidence-Informed Educational Improvement) is a European innovation project, a Forward-Looking Project, that aims to transform the data culture in primary, secondary and vocational education schools. Starting from the current fragmentation of data practices in Europe, the project proposes an approach based on the DIKW model (Data → Information → Knowledge → Wisdom) to train teachers and school leaders in the responsible, ethical and pedagogically meaningful use of information.

She is also a researcher at UOC FuturEd and Principal Investigator of the GREDU research group, Director of the UOC–Fundación VASS Chair “Digital Transformation Without Barriers”.
Her work focuses on educational technology, pedagogical innovation, learning spaces, and data literacy in education.
