Following the release of The Lacanian Teacher. Education, Pedagogy and Enjoyment (2025, Palgrave) by Nick Stock and Nick Peim, this seminar delves into the arguments made in the book.
The authors will be in conversation with Isabel Millar, acclaimed philosopher and author of The Psychoanalysis of Artificial Intelligence (2021, Palgrave) and Patipolitics (2026, Bloomsbury).
The conversation will explore questions of the teacher, their fantasmatic educational landscape, their enjoyment, and the repercussions for subjectivity, culture, and politics.
This event will be particularly useful to reseachers, policy makers, teachers and students who are interested in education, philosophy of education and teaching
