Secondary data analysis with longitudinal population studies
Are you a student or early career researcher considering using longitudinal population study data for the first time in your research?

This short course offers participants a comprehensive introduction to understanding, accessing and utilising secondary data from longitudinal population studies for research purposes.
Led by Dr Neil Kaye (CLOSER Head of Education and Training) and Dr Charlotte Campbell (CLOSER Research Fellow), the course will cover an introduction to LPS survey research methods, discovering and understanding LPS data, data management essentials, working with real-world secondary data, and techniques for analysing LPS data.
The course will be delivered across five 2-hour webinars taking place at 13:00-15:00 BST on the following dates: 7, 14, 21, 28 May and 4 June 2025.
No previous experience with statistical analysis of longitudinal data is necessary, though prior knowledge of quantitative methods and/or use of Stata would be expected.
This event will be particularly useful for undergraduate and postgraduate students/PHD candidates.
