‘My name is not asylum seeker’ is a pop-up exhibition based on the Migrants and Solidarities research project, about the experiences of people living in asylum dispersal housing in Yorkshire.

'My name is not asylum seeker' was created by Professor Mette Louise Berg and Dr Eve Dickson from the Thomas Coram Research Unit, part of the UCL Social Research Institute, in collaboration with a group of co-researchers with lived experience of the UK asylum system, and exhibition designer Nadia Mendez Guevara.
The exhibition opened in Halifax in May 2024 and has been touring Yorkshire, where the research took place. It is now coming to UCL.
This event will be particularly useful for researchers and students.
