Art as a gateway: From non-verbal expression to verbal language

Pia Jaime

Argentinian visual and multidisciplinary artist

Based in London since 2008, Pia works with analogue and digital photography, ceramic and drawing. She uses personal experiences that feed into the actions of repairing, rebuilding and capturing fleeting moments, building upon the ideas of labour, memory, transgenerational trauma and neurodiversity from a female perspective.

Pia is also a passionate educator and a community project leader. She teaches Photography at Brit Kids, Brit School in Croydon.
